AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL ZONING MAP TO CORRECT A
SCRIVENER'S ERROR AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE
SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, as a part of the adoption of the current
Edmonds Community Development Code in 1980, the City readopted
the Official Zoning Map in 1980; and
WHEREAS, the three lots described herein were by error
shown on said map as being in the public use zoning
classification instead of their true zoning of RS-12; and
WHEREAS, the lots in question were originally zoned RS-
12 pursuant to the requirements of the Community Development Code
then in effect and no map change or rezone application was or has

ever been processed with respect to said maps; and
WHEREAS, the City wishes to correct the scrivener's
error in the Zoning Map and show the lots with their true, under-
lying zoning of RS-12, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Community Services Director or his
designee are hereby directed to amend the Official Zoning Map in
order to show the correct zoning category of RS-12 for lots 11,
12, and 13 of Block 5, Oscar E. Jensen's Seattle suburban tracts
as shown on the records of Snohomish County, Washington. The

Zoning Map is not being amended, but rather corrected in order to
show the true underlying zoning of the property. For this
reason, the procedures set forth in Chapter 20.80 relating to
text and map changes have not been followed, because the map is
being corrected and not amended.
Section 2. This ordinance, being an administrative
action, is not subject to referendum and shall take effect five
(5) days after this ordinance or a summary thereof consisting of
the title is published.
