ORDINANCE NO. 2787
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON,
AMENDING THE OFFICIAL STREET MAP TO REDUCE THE
PROPOSED RIGHT OF WAY FOR 83RD AVENUE WEST IN
THE VICINITY OF 208TH STREET, SOUTHWEST FROM 60
FEET TO 50 FEET AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, pursuant to public hearing and the
recommendations of its hearing examiner, the City Council
determines it to be in the public interest to amend the official
street map of the City to reduce the plan line right of way of
83rd Avenue West from 60 feet to 50 feet in the vicinity of 208th
Street, Southwest, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The official street map for the City of
Edmonds is hereby amended to reduce the plan line right of way
for 83rd Avenue West in the vicinity of 208th Street Southwest
from 60 feet to 50 feet. Said 10 foot reduction shall be taken
from the westerly proposed right of way line of 83rd Avenue West
as shown on the attached Exhibit A incorporated by this reference
as fully as if herein set forth.
Section 2. Community Services Director or his
designee is hereby authorized and directed to amend the official
street map to reflect said reduction for the plan line right of
way.

Section 3. This ordinance, being an exercise of a
power specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not
subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after
passage and publication of the ordinance or a summary thereof
consisting of the title.
