AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2980 TO ADD
THE SNOHOMISH COUNTY TOURISM ADVISORY BOARD
TO THE LIST OF CITY COUNCIL APPOINTMENTS
QUALIFYING FOR COMPENSATION PURSUANT TO A
SERIES OF ORDINANCES BEGINNING WITH ORDINANCE
NO. 2622 AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL
BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City Council pursuant to Ordinances 2622, 2741, 2884 and 2980
have established a system to compensation consisting of a base salary plus compensation for each
City Council meeting attended, and
WHEREAS, the City Council updates the list from time to time in order that they
best reflect the needs and priorities of the City Council, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The system of compensation established by Ordinance 2622 and
amended from time to time pursuant to ordinances 2741, 2884 and 2980 is and are hereby
amended by the addition of a new subparagraph (k) adding the Snohomish County Tourism
Advisory Board to the list of compensated meetings.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi-
cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect

five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the
title.
