ORDINANCE NO. 3041
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF SECTION
8.48.500(C) REGARDING PARKING IN THE FISHING PIER
PARKING LOT AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City Council finds it appropriate to amend the no parking
provisions relating to the fishing pier parking lot in order to provide for the cleaning of the
parking lot with the City's streetsweeper between the hours of 4:00 a. m. to 7:00 a. m. on Friday
morning; and
WHEREAS, the City Council deems it appropriate to prohibit parking in the lot
during those hours; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Edmonds City Code Section 8.48.500 Parking and Fishing
Pier Parking Lot, Section C, is hereby amended to read as follows:
8.48.500 Parking and Fishing Pier Parking Lot.
C. When signs are erected giving notice thereof, no person
shall park a vehicle in the fishing pier parking lot on Friday of
each week between the hours of 4:00 a. m. and 7:00 a. m.

Section 2. Severability. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,
such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other
section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an administrative action, is not
subject to referendum and shall take effect five (5) days after publication of an approved
summary thereof consisting of the title.
