ORDINANCE NO. 3094
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING SECTION 10.40.020(C)(2) OF
THE EDMONDS CITY CODE IN ORDER TO LIMIT
PLANNING BOARD REVIEW OF PARKING ISSUES TO
THOSE ISSUES THAT RELATE TO CITY ORDINANCE AND
CODE SECTION PROVISIONS THAT ARE ALREADY
SUBJECT TO PLANNING BOARD REVIEW AUTHORITY.
WHEREAS, Section 10.40.020(C)(2) requires that the Edmonds Planning Board
advise the Mayor and City Council on all matters relating to parking in the downtown Edmonds
area, and
WHEREAS, the Edmonds City Council has created a parking committee to advise
the City Council on parking issues, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Section 10.40.020(C)(2) of the Edmonds City Code is hereby repealed
and replaced with the following:
2. The Board shall advise the Mayor and City
Council on all parking matters that involve
an amendment or other modification to any
city ordinance or code section within the
jurisdiction of the Board.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,

such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other
section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an administrative action, is not
subject to referendum and shall take effect five (5) days after publication of an approved
summary thereof consisting of the title.
