ORDINANCE NO. 3113
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3110
SECTION 2. TO LIMIT THE INCREASE IN COMPENSATION
TO MEMBERS OF THE CITY COUNCIL ELECTED ON OR
AFTER JANUARY 1, 2000, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE
SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Ordinance No. 3110, Section 2. is hereby amended to read as follows:
Any City Council member elected to office on or
after January 1, 2000, shall receive $350.00 per
month as base compensation and an additional
payment of $50.00 per meeting actually attended, in
accordance with the policies established by Section
1 of Ordinance No. 3110 to a maximum of $400
per month for total compensation not to exceed
$750 per month.
Section 2. Severability. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,
such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other
section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi-
cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect

five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the
title.
