ORDINANCE NO. 312 3
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3114 TO
CORRECT A LEGAL DESCRIPTION FOR THE FOREST
GLEN ANNEXATION AREA AND FIXING A TIME WHEN
THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City of Edmonds, Washington adopted an ordinance annexing
the Forest Glen area by Edmonds Ordinance No. 3114 on September 24, 1996, and
WHEREAS, the legal description used to describe the Forest Glen annexation area
in Ordinance No. 3114 had minor errors relating to incorrect legal description, and
WHEREAS, a vicinity map was attached as Exhibit B to Edmonds Ordinance No.
3114 in which the annexation area was accurately portrayed, and
WHEREAS, to the best knowledge of the City Council no one was misled by the
inaccurate legal description, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. Exhibit A to Edmonds Ordinance No. 3114 is hereby repealed and
replaced with the legal description attached hereto and incorporated by this reference as
Exhibit A.

Section 2. Severbility. If any section, sentence, clause or phrase of this
ordinance should be held to be invalid or unconstitutional by a court of competent jurisdiction,
such invalidity or unconstitutionality shall not affect the validity or constitutionality of any other
section, sentence, clause or phrase of this ordinance.
Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi-
cally delegated to the City legislative body, shall take effect five (5) days after passage and
publication of an approved summary and legal description of the annexation area.

EXHIBIT A
Legal Description
Beginning at a point on the existing City Limits of Edmonds as described in annexation
ordinance 2375, being a point on the east -west centerline of Section 36, Township 27 North,
Range 3 East, W.M., being the southwest corner of the southeast quarter of the northwest
quarter; thence easterly along said centerline to its intersection with the easterly right -of -way
margin of 100th Ave. W. (Firdale Ave.); thence southerly along said margin to its intersection
with the east line of the southwest quarter of the southeast quarter of said Section 36; thence
southerly along said east line to its intersection with the south line of said Section 36, being the
King Snohomish County line; thence westerly, along said south line and said county line to its
intersection with the west line of said section, being the corporate limits of the Town of
Woodway; thence northerly along said west line and said limits to the northwest corner of H.
K. Schroeder's Replat of Forest Glen, as recorded in Volume 17 of Plats, Page 46, records of
Snohomish County; thence easterly along the northerly boundary of said plat and its easterly
prolongation to its intersection with the easterly right -of -way margin of 104th Avenue West;
thence northerly along said margin to the point of beginning.
