ORDINANCE NO. 3228
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING PROVISIONS OF EDMONDS
CITY CODE 8.64.060 THREE -HOUR PARKING LIMITATION
IN ORDER TO AMEND PARAGRAPH 8 RELATING TO
THIRD AVENUE NORTH AND TO ADD A NEW
PARAGRAPH 34 RELATING TO SPRAGUE STREET AND
FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, following public hearing, the City Council deems it appropriate to
extend the current limitations on parking to three hours between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 6:00
p.m. of any day except Sunday and public holidays to include an additional portion of Fourth
Avenue North and Sprague Street from Edmonds Street to Sixth Avenue North, NOW,
THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Edmonds City Code Section 8.64.060 Schedule VI - Parking
Limit on Certain Streets is hereby amended by the amendment of paragraph 8 relating to Third
Avenue North and the addition of a new paragraph 34 relating to Sprague Street. In all other
respects, the provisions of Section 8.64.060 and paragraphs 1 through 7 and 9 through 33 are
hereby reconfirmed. The amendment shall read as follows:

intersection with Dayton Street to Fourth, Avenue
North.
34. Both sides of Sprague Street from Edmonds
Street to Sixth Avenue North.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi-
cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect
five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the
title.
