ORDINANCE NO. 3316
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 3285,
EXHIBIT A, TO CONFIRM POSITION RECLASSIFICATIONS,
AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME
EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, the City Council from time to time makes amendments or authorizes
expenditures during the course of a budget year, and
WHEREAS, it. is the City Council's practice to confirm such changes during the
course of the budget year, and
WHEREAS, the City Council has previously approved the reclassification of the
Court Administrator position from pay grade E -12 to pay grade M -05, the position of Human
Resources Assistant from pay grade E -12 to pay grade E -10; the position of City Cleric from E-
13 to M -07 and the Accounting Manager from E -16 to M -08 Assistant Administrative Services
Director, and
WHEREAS, the City Council wishes to ratify said reclassifications as a part of its
mid -year budget adjustments, NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The reclassification of the following positions on the date set forth in
the appropriate City Council minutes is hereby ratified and confirmed. Exhibit A to the annual

salary ordinance No. 3285 for budget year 2000 is amended in, but only in, the following
respects:
City Clerk from E -13 to M -07;
Human Resources Assistant from E -12 to E -10
Accounting Manager, from E -16 to M -08 Assistant Administrative
Services Director; and
Court Administrator, from E -12 to M -05.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi-
cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect
five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the
title.
