Ordinance 35540006.90000 WSS /gjz 6/9/05 ORDINANCE NO. 3554 AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE ANNUAL SALARY ORDINANCE FOR BUDGET YEAR 2005, ORDINANCE 3528, BY THE AMENDMENT OF EXHIBIT A THERETO NONREPRESENTED EMPLOYEE PAY SCHEDULE IN ORDER TO IMPLEMENT THE L -5 STUDY, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE. WHEREAS, pursuant to RCW 35(A).33.050, Ordinance No. 3528 was adopted providing for a salary schedule for nonrepresented exempt employees as a part of the City's annual budget ordinance, and WHEREAS, the City Council has determined it appropriate to amend the non- represented salary ranges in order to implement a compensation plan known as the L -5 Study, NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The annual salary ordinance for budget year 2005, Ordinance No. 3528, is hereby amended in, but only in the following respect. 1.1 The salary ranges for non - represented employees, as shown in Exhibit A, are hereby substituted as the City's new salary range schedule. 1.2 In all other respects, the provisions of Ordinance No. 3528 shall remain in full force and effect. {WSS604952.DOC;1 /00006.900000/1 - 1 - 1, 2005. Section 2. The adjustments provided for in this ordinance shall be effective July Section 3. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi- cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the title.
