ORDINANCE NO. 3607
AN ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS,
WASHINGTON, AMENDING THE PROVISIONS OF
SECTION 4.04.030 LEASES OF PUBLIC RIGHT OF WAY,
PARAGRAPH A, AND FIXING A TIME WHEN THE SAME
SHALL BECOME EFFECTIVE.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 3604 was enacted in order to provide for streamlined
methodology for the lease of public right of way space; and
WHEREAS, certain language within the ordinance could be interpreted to require
additional licenses or agreements; NOW, THEREFORE,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON, DO
ORDAIN AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The Edmonds City Code, Section 4.04.030 Leases of Public Right of
Way, paragraph A, is hereby amended to read as follows:
4.04.030 Leases of public right of way.
A. "Public right of way" shall mean property held for street or
alley purposes and shall typically be limited to unopened city right
of way. The lease of public right of way developed for street
purposes shall incorporate applicable terms from the street use
provisions of Chapter 18.70.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power specifi-
cally delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take effect

five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of the
title.
