Section 1. The proposed amendment to the Edmonds Public Facilities District
Charter contained in Edmonds Public Facilities District Resolution No. 38, Section 1, attached
hereto as Attachment A and incorporated herein by this reference as if set forth in full, is hereby
approved. A copy of this ordinance shall be affixed to and maintained with said Charter in the
formal records of the City.
Section 2. Effective Date. This ordinance, being an exercise of a power
specifically delegated to the City legislative body, is not subject to referendum, and shall take
effect, five (5) days after passage and publication of an approved summary thereof consisting of
the title,

WHEREAS, the Edmonds Public Facilities District Board recognizes the importance of rotating its membership
over time in order to attract and incorporate new ideas, to expand community outreach and investment, and to
help ensure the long term health and vitality of the District and of Edmonds Center for the Arts;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by Edmonds Public Facilities District, Snohomish County,
Washington, as follows:
Section 2. Amendment to the Bylaws of Edmonds Public Facilities District adding new Section 1.3 —
Terms of Service — to remain consistent with the District's Charter. Upon Edmonds City Council's
ratification of the proposed amendment to Section 5.02 of the Charter of Edmonds Public Facilities District as
fescribed above, the Board hereby further resolves to add the following clause to the Bylaws of Edmonds
