MINUTES - Joint Meeting with Diversity Commission July 6, 2016

The meeting was called to order at 6:05 PM by the Cultural Diversity Commission.
No official business was conducted by the Arts Commission.
INTRODUCTIONS — Both commissions introduced themselves.
AGENDA — Edmonds Arts Commission reported as Item 6 on the DC agenda.
Chapin and Commissioners briefly described EAC programs and general discussion followed including
comments about accessibility for vision impaired, poetry programs for youth, and involvement of the
international district. There was consensus that the two commissions would have opportunities for
collaboration in the future. Following this discussion Arts Commission members and staff left the meeting at
approximately 6:50 pm.
