Call to Order
Chair Jerry Janacek called the meeting to order at 2:45 pm.

Approval of Minutes
June 15, 2017 minutes were approved. Motion to approve by Joan Longstaff,
seconded by Melissa Johnson, approved.
Finance Report: The April, May reports were available and are attached.
Chair Report:
• We welcomed Kelly Sawyer as a new Board Member.
• Mapping is being completed.
Staff Report:
• We have a candidate for a seasonal employee.

Old Business:
• Special thanks to Melissa, Betty and Joan for the outstanding job of publicity
for bringing good attendance to the Walk Back In time.
• The Cemetery Monument landscaping will begin soon.
New Business:
• We need to do a study for Columbarium expansion.
• The north end of the Cemetery will be fenced in October.
• When the Veteran's Memorial Monument is completed, Betty Gaeng will
write the history and do a presentation at the Ceremony.
Announcements:
• 501c donations are accepted and legal with checks made out to the City of
Edmonds.

The meeting was adjourned at 3:38 pm by Jerry Janacek.

Thursday, August 17, 2017 at 4 pm, at Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main Street.
