Call to Order
Chair Jerry Janacek called the meeting to order at 4:02 pm.

Approval of Minutes
• January 18, 2018 minutes were approved without changes. Motion to
approve by Joan Longstaff, seconded by Melissa Johnson, approved.
Finance Report: The December report was available and is attached.
Chair Report:
• 2 new Board members are needed, a media release was put sent out.
Staff Report:
• Sexton's report was available and is attached.
• Due to Quiring Monuments busy schedule, the monument placement will be
delayed until at least March.
• The new cemetery software project is ongoing.
• Rich is going to be in contact with Finance regarding the interest on the 130
Cemetery Fund.

Old Business:
1
• Advertising has been renewed with the Edmonds Beacon and the Chamber of
Commerce
• Cemetery brochures were handed out to Board members to distribute in the
community.
• Memorial Day planning is continuing.
New Business:
• Rich is researching interest on Cemetery Fund 130 and Gift Fund.
Announcements:
• There will be no Memorial Day planning committee meeting in March.
Adjournment:
The meeting was adjourned at 4:55 pm by Jerry Janacek.

Thursday, March 15, 2018 at 4 pm, at Frances Anderson Center, 700 Main Street.
