Call to Order
Chair Jerry Janacek called the meeting to order at 4:01 pm.

Approval of Minutes
• April 19, 2018 minutes were approved with changes. Motion to approve by
Melissa, seconded by Joan, approved.
Finance Report: The March and April reports were available and are attached.
Chair Report:
• Peggy Irwin will resign as of June 1 because she is moving.
• Tracy Little is applying for Board Member position.
Staff Report:
• Sexton's report was available and is attached.
• Rich has planned to add the new names to the Memorial Monument.
• A new seasonal employee has been hired.
• The grounds are ready for the Memorial Day Ceremony.
• The Carolyn Henry donated bench location is still being determined due to
foot traffic flow, etc.
• There are 10,000 sites in the new mapping project of various sizes.

Memorial Day Planning: Chris Edwards will speak about Iraq and
Afghanistan experiences.
Peggy suggested posters for Memorial Day, Melissa developed them and Joan
distributed them.
New Business:
• Walk Back in Time was discussed, ideas were discussed, volunteers are
needed and posters will be made for this as well.

The meeting was adjourned at 4:57 pm by Jerry Janacek.
