Transportation Choices Coalition is a 501(c)3 nonprofit, statewide organization headquartered
in Seattle. Edmonds is an organizational member of TCC.
Rob and several other TCC representatives have previously met with City of Edmonds staff and
audited specific aspects of the City's comprehensive plan (including bikeway, walkway, and
streetscape plans) and several other documents in regards to transportation sustainability. Rob
provided a handout that included a positive review of Edmonds' sustainability as well as a
detailed audit of their findings.
In Washington, 60% of carbon is from vehicle emissions; however, once clean -air standards are
implemented in 2009, we'll have the best standards in the world. TCC's website is

plug-in vehicles and adding a plug-in station somewhere in the city. The Community

indicated that the CS/DS committee asked staff to come back with a proposal to add a plug-in
station at the PW parking lot. The topic will be on the August CS/DS committee agenda.
