CALL TO ORDER
Chair Bracilano called the meeting to order @ 7:03 pm
MINUTES
Commissioner H. Scott McEwen made a motion to approve the minutes from the January 8, 2014 meeting.
Chair Bracilano seconded the motion. The motion carried.

POLICE BUSINESS
r3eview and aooroval of the Entry Level & Lateral Level Police Officer Eliaibility List(s)
,ssistant Chief of Police (ACOP) Jim Lawless explained that one candidate had dropped off the eligibility list (Tyler
Buckingham) as he was hired in March 2014 and would be attending the training academy. Additionally, one other
candidate, Sam Gagner, who was on the previous Entry Level Eligibility List and was hired earlier in the year, will be
attending the academy next week as well. Chair Bracilano inquired as to whether or not there were any vacancies and
ACOP Lawless stated that there is one.
Review and approval of the Lateral Level Police Officer Eligibility List
ACOP Lawless stated that there is one candidate on the Lateral Level Eligibility List from out of state (Wisconsin) who had
also tested (through Public Safety Testing) with the City of Kent and that he could end up getting offered a position there.
Commissioner McEwen made a motion to approve the Entry Level and Lateral Level Police Eligibility List(s). Chair
Bracilano seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Executive Discussion to Discuss the ACOP Promotional Exam process
The Commission went into executive session and off the record @ 7:09 pm to discuss the ACOP promotional exam
process. The Commission went out of Executive Session and back on the record at 7:23 pm.
Chair Bracilano stated that the Commission had a thorough discussion about the ACOP promotional exam in executive
session and wished the department well with this process.
