CALL TO ORDER
Chair Bracilano called the meeting to order @ 7:01 pm. Commissioner H. Scott McEwen was unable to attend the
meeting.
MINUTES
The meeting minutes from the February 5, 2014 could not be approved by the Commission as Commissioner H. Scott
McEwen (who was present at the February 5, 2014 meeting) was not present to approve these meeting minutes.

POLICE BUSINESS
Review and approval of the Assistant Chief of Police Eligibility List
Assistant Chief of Police (ACOP) Jim Lawless explained the process was well set up and went well. The Assessment
Center interview panel was comprised of mostly Chief(s) of Police and Assistant Chief(s) of Police. The process includes
an oral discussion of the written projects with questions and a separate oral interview (with the panel). Two candidates
participated; Sergeant Don Anderson and Sergeant Mark Marsh. The top scoring candidate from this process was
Sergeant Don Anderson.
Chair Bracilano made a motion to approve the Assistant Chief of Police Eligibility List. Commissioner Shimer seconded
the motion. The motion carried.
Review and approval of the Lateral Level Police Officer Eligibility List
ACOP Lawless stated that there is one candidate on the Lateral Level Eligibility List that was removed from the list due to
being disqualified in the background check process, but that at this time there is no list.
