CALL TO ORDER
Chair David Bracilano called the meeting to order at 7:03 pm. Commissioner H. Scott McEwen was unable to attend the
meeting.
MINUTES
The approval of the June 11, 2014 and August 20, 2014 meeting minutes were deferred for approval to the next Civil
Service Meeting as Commissioner McEwen (who was in attendance at those meetings) was not present to approve those
minutes.

POLICE BUSINESS
Review and approval of the Entry Level Police Officer Eligibility List
Assistant Chief of Police (ACOP) Don Anderson stated that there was one addition to the Entry Level List (Bradford
Cameron) and that candidate Karissa Kuhn had been removed from the list. Chair Bracilano inquired as to whether there
were any vacancies in this position. ACOP Anderson stated that there are 3 vacancies and that 2 candidates were in the
background check process and that there was one more position vacancy to be filled
Review and approyal of the Lateral Level Police Officer Eligibility List
ACOP Anderson stated that the candidates on the Lateral Level Eligibility List were a result of the recent oral board
examination conducted on August 27, 2014.
Commissioner Shimer made a motion to approve the Entry Level and Lateral Level Police Officer Eligibility List(s) dated
September 3, 2014. Chair Bracilano seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Successful Completion of Probation — Sergeant Josh McClure
ACOP Anderson stated that Sergeant Josh McClure had recently completed his probationary period on July 1, 2014 and
was doing well. Chair Bracilano extended congratulations to Sergeant McClure on behalf of the Commission on the
successful completion of probation.
