Meeting called to order at 8:05 am
Board Members/Administration in attendance: Carrie Hulbert, Matt McCulloch, Jenny Shore, Mary Kay
Sneeringer, Mark VonGunten
City of Edmonds representatives in attendance: Patrick Doherty
Ed! Members/Guests: Kimberly Koenig (Rogue), Judy Salinas (Glazed & Amazed), Pam Stuller (Walnut
Street Coffee), Carolyn Hart -Miley (Edmonds Vitamins & Herbs)
Public Comment: None
President's Report: None. Matt conducted the meeting in Kiersten's absence, but as a quorum of board
members was not present no official business was conducted.
Treasurer's Report: None
New Businesses added to the BID: None.
City Update:
• Patrick reminded us that the BID work plan is due to the City at the end of October.
• The City's Creative District application to the state is almost completed. There are 145
businesses in Edmonds that are considered "creative" and those businesses employ 12oo
people.
• The City is currently working on its annual budget for 2019.
• The Diversity Committee started its film series in October and now has a grant program.
• The new video promotion of the City began, along with a video contest.
• The Tourism partnership group continues to meet and explore ways that everyone can work
together to promote Edmonds.
Committee Updates:
1. Marketing: A draft budget was presented and will be discussed further at the next meeting.
2. Appearance & Environment: A draft budget was presented and will be discussed further at the
next meeting.
3. Communication and Outreach: A draft budget was presented and will be discussed further at
the next meeting.
4. Professional Business Resources: It was discussed that this committee be dissolved and ant
work in this area would fall under the Communication & Outreach committee. This will be
discussed further at the next meeting.
S. Grant Program: A draft budget was presented and will be discussed further at the next meeting.
6. Administration: A draft budget was presented and will be discussed further at the next
meeting.
New Business: None.
