Meeting was opened by Joan Bloom at 10 a.m.
1. Approval of February 12, 2013 meeting minutes.
Jan Conner moved to approve 2/12/13 meeting minutes and Joe seconded the motion. Motion
passed.
2. Review of 2013 revenue and expenditures
Discussed budget and reported revenue is over target from estimates in budget.
Every 3 years we have the expenditure of the log cabin treatment of $4,500 and that will happen in
2013 and there is a $4,000 annual transfer to the 117 Fund to fund the Craze recreation publication.

3. Review and approval of 2014 Funding Applications
Discussed recent changes to LTAC rules by state legislature and how applications will be required for
all requests for funding. All entities including City will need to submit applications.
Frances discussed the applications received by the Edmonds Arts Commission (EAC). These grants
are limited to a maximum of $2,000 each. The recommendations by the EAC are: Sno-King Chorale
$1,000, Art Studio Tour $800, Cascade Symphony $1,700, Olympic Ballet $2,000, Friends of Frank
DeMiero Jazz Festival $2,000, Driftwood Players $2,000, Write on the Sound $5,000, and the City for
printing the Craze $4,000. These awards total $14,500, Jan moved to approve for funding and Joe
seconded, motion passed. The City submitted applications for Puget Sound Bird Fest $1,500 Jan
moved to approve for funding Joe seconded, motion passed. The City also submitted for Economic
Development for Marketing/Advertising $48,500 Joe moved to approve for funding and Jan
seconded, motion passed. Funding requests were received from the Edmonds Center for the Arts
$12,500, Jan moved to approve for funding and Frances seconded, motion passed. Funding requests
were received from Snohomish County Visitor's Bureau $6,000 and Edmonds Chamber of
Commerce/Visitor's Bureau $2,500 Joe moved to approve for funding and Frances seconded, motion
passed.
4. Review of 2014 Budget
General discussion on expenditures and revenue projections for 2014. Way -finding signage was
discussed and it was advised the project did not have to be complete by the end of June.
Coordination of sight location and installation details need to be confirmed.
5. Membership
Patricia Moriarity has been identified as an owner of a Bed & Breakfast in town and fits the
description of a generator of lodging tax. Joe moved to recommend Pat Moriarity for the vacant
generator position on the LTAC, Jan seconded the motion. Motion passed unanimously.
6. Next meeting will be held in November or December if necessary otherwise the next meeting will be
held in 2014.
