Minutes: March minutes moved and seconded, no minutes from April as there wasn't a quorum.
Treasurer's Report: The financials were discussed
Staff Report:
• Michelle Rocksted has a blog set up.
• The first orientation went very well. All the students were in attendance.
• At this time, we have hosts for 9 students. We need places for six more. The preference is to
place them in pairs since they will be in homes with no exchange students. Dates are August 4-
16. At this time, the chaperones may be staying in a hotel.
• We will send our introductory student list this week. We expect to receive one from Hekinan on
June 2.

Continuing Business:
A. Newsletter: There was no report as Patrick was not present.
B. Sister City International: We decided not to join at this time.
C. Itinerary review: We discussed the itinerary for August, making a few adjustments. It will be
finalized next month.

A. Upcoming Orientation Dates: Carolyn and Dar will attend the meeting on May 30.
B. Host Family Recruitment: In addition to the discussion above, we made a list of contacts to
reach out to.
