Administration
• Agenda: Michele moved to approve the agenda as written. Lindsey seconded. Motion passed.
• Minutes: Laura moved to approve the minutes as written. Greg seconded. Motion passed.
• Financials: Carolyn reported no change in financials since last meeting.
Continuing Business:
• Review of Calendar: lyoko suggested adding the tasks involved with the ALT position. Michele
will send out the public relations/media topics by month. Everyone agree the checklist format
worked well. Carolyn will finalize and distribute the calendar.
• Adult Delegation: The dates of the visit are tentatively 10/29 - 11/3.
We reviewed the itinerary (see attached).
Karyn & Gillian will check with their schools for scheduling visits.
Carolyn will bring a proposal from Valerie Claypool for coordinating a Halloween Party
and the 301h Anniversary reception to the next meeting.
• Task Committees
Newsletter outline —The group reviewed a hard copy of the newsletter. Carolyn will post it on
our web page and Facebook page tomorrow. She will set up an "opt -in" function so we can
gather emails for future mailings. Michele will send out the list of people we discussed wanting
to connect with. Discussion on Snapchat and Instagram accounts and issues with monitoring
use followed.
New Business:
• New logo — Dar was not present, but Lindsey offered to come up with some ideas for June
meeting.
• May order string backpacks for delegates. Gillian will follow up with the Portugals re: minimum
orders and apparel options.
