Please bring corrections/comments. 6) Old Business/Discussion (40 minutes) • 2016 events calendar. Barbara Chase suggested a publicity announcement of our 2016 events. Seems like a nice idea. Discuss who, when, what, where. • 2016 events calendar: confirm event list and chair/leader for each event. Date? Budget? Partnering agencies? • Barbara Chase's My Edmonds News periodic article on tree topics. Who is willing to step up to contribute? • Heritage Tree Program progress update from Barbara Chase. • Cass Turnbull presentation update from Barbara Durr. Also discuss ideas for publicity, including the design of the flyer and other promotional materials. 7) New Business (60 minutes) • Tree Board City Council presentation, March 22 at the City Council meeting. Discuss presentation topics. We will have approximately 12 — 15 minutes for the presentation, followed by Q&A. Confirm presentation outline. Steve and Barbara will work on the presentation materials and will be the speakers. • Critical Areas Ordinance Tree Board involvement. We have not been formally asked to provide feedback, but there are some tree -related issues that we may want to quickly contact the City Council about. • Tree City USA 2015 application recap. • Tree Board applications. City Council is expecting to be through selection of two new members by March 1. • Tree Board email demo. I'll bring my computer and see if we can work through some of the challenges folks are having. • Barbara and Jed: Collaboration w/ Climate Protection Committee. Please provide a brief report on the 3/3/16 CPC meeting, and discuss of what types of partnering may be desirable/possible in the future. • Tree Board consultant services. Shane Hope offered us the opportunity to re -assign some of our $3,000 materials and supplies budget to consultant services if we feel it would be beneficial.
