June meeting notes were distributed via email. Please bring corrections/comments.
6) Old Business/Discussion
• Tree Board University. We can pursue a Tree City USA Growth Award if we all enroll and go through the online
program. I strongly encourage all Tree Board members to do so.
• EPA Water Quality Scorecard — there are some policies relating to tree preservation that may be useful for us.
Update from Jed's research.
• Reminder: please submit receipts for expense reimbursements for the Cass Turnbull presentation. Denise Nelson
distributed the reimbursement form to all Tree Board members via email on June 13.
• Arbor Day planting event planning. It's only a bit over 3 months until our Arbor Day planting event in the open
space at 86t" Place W and Main St. We need to start to figure out budget, who we will invite, what groups to
partner with, logistics, etc.
Let's plan an on -site meeting for later July or August. Discuss date/time.
• Tree lists

• Table at Edmonds Summer Market. I can't remember who was going to contact the Market staff to get this
arranged, but we need to get a date on the calendar ASAP.
