Please bring corrections/comments. 6) Old Business/Discussion • Event update from Diane: April 22, 2017 Earth Day ivy clean-up at Hutt Park. Discuss Tree Board obligations • Any other event planning updates? • Please attend the Tree Board's presentation at the City Council meeting March 14, a little after 7:00 pm. Steve and Doug will present, and would appreciate attendance by as many Tree Board members as possible. • Tree Board consultant scope of work. Discuss what scope to add for 2017. 7) New Business • Water Day Event at Holy Rosary Church. March 22 at 7:00 pm. Church has just approved the planting of native trees along the part of Shell Creek on their property (I am not sure if this is part of the same event as the next agenda item, and hope Joe Scordino can clarify). Tree Board to attend the event to congratulate/thank them and help spread the word on the value of trees in this stream buffer critical area, and its general contribution to city- wide improvements in canopy cover. Students Saving Salmon will also be there to discuss habitat improvements, so we do not need to cover that. Who can attend? • Joe Scordino will attend to discuss the Shell Creek planting project by Students Saving Salmon • Tree Board Alternate position, defined.
