August meeting notes were distributed via email. Please bring corrections/comments.
6) Old Business/Discussion
• Edmonds Summer Market Tree Board Table September 30; event discussion.
• Arbor Day event discussion. October 7, Hickman Park. It appears there may be an Edmonds Parks rain garden
tour at Hickman Park while we're doing our planting event!
• Edmonds UFMP—discussion of Tree Board sub -committee meeting and next steps.
• Shell Creek Holy Rosary campus tree planting project —Did anyone attend the September 5 meeting to lay out the
planting area? Weeding/clearing is scheduled for Saturday, September 16. Would be nice if the Tree Board could
be represented there. Planting date TBD. Is the Tree Board interested in providing refreshments for the event, or
more importantly —leather work gloves?
7) New Business
• Floretum Garden Club workshop October 21. Information from Barbara.
• FYI Updated Tree Board member term end dates (terms were all shortened by 1 year with the ordinance update)
