Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Christensen,, -seconded by Councilman Sorensen that Resolution #11 of the Planning Commission be acc°epted, adding Pihe`.Street from 9th Ave. to 16th to the Comprehensive Street Plan. Motion carried. Requests to re -name 61 St. and give the name of "Magnolia Lane" to a street in that vicinity were received, and action held until residents of each street have voiced their. opinions. A motion was made`by Councilman Kincaid, seconded by Councilman Sorensen that the Engineer be instructed to establish the street grade on 11BI' Street, south of Fir. Motion carried. There being no further business, the meeting adjourned. City Clerk M r November 4, 1958 Regular meeting was called to order by Mayor Maxwell, with all councilmen present. This was the evening set for the hearing on the preliminary assessment roll on LID #939 paving 4th Ave. from Pine to Howell, and Erben Drive from 3rd to 4th. Two petitions protesting the LID were received, and after discussion,, a motion was made by Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman McGibbon that the hearing on LID #93 be continued to the next regular meeting on November 18. Motion carried. Hearing on the Preliminary Assessment Roll on LID #949 Michielli Park sewers, was held. There were no written protests, and the motion was made by Councilman Tuson, seconded by Councilman Kincaidthat Ordinance ##738, setting up LID #94 be passed. Motion carried. Hearing on the Final Assessment Roll on LID ##84 was held; sidewalks and curbs on 3rd Ave. N. from Edmonds to Casper. There were no protests, and the.motion was made by Councilman Simpson, seconded by Councilman McGibbon that Ordinance ##739 be passed, approving and confirming the Final Assessment Roll on LID ##849 with issuance of bonds to be Dec. 29, 1958 at interest rate of 6%. Motion carried. Hearing was held on the Final Assessment Roll on LID #85; sewers and grading on Walnut St., 7th to 9th. Protests were filed from Mr.;. and Mrs. Nesbitt for loss of soil°from their property; from Ewart Harris, claiming that the sewer did not benefit his property; and from Delores McDonald on claim that a hook-up fee had been paid by the former owner of the property. After discussion, a motion was made by Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Kincaid that Ordinance #740 be passed, approving and d6nfirming Assessment Roll on LID ##85, with any credit due Mrs. McDonald on Lots 192,3,and 49 Block 92 for any previously paid hook-up fee -to be given. Issuanc6 of bonds to be Dec.29, 1958. Motion carried. The complaint received from Mr. and Mrs*. Nesbitt was referred to the,Engineer and the Street Committee to investigate. A motion was made -by Councilman Christensen, seconded by,Councilman Sorensen that the approved bills be paid and warrants drawn on the proper funds. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Tuson, seconded by Councilman Kincaid authorizing issuance of Interest bearing warrants #14 for $915.10, and #15,16, and 17 for $19000.00 each on LID ##86 to Southwick -Campbell Co., Inc. in the total amount of $3015.10 for contractor's estimate ##3 submitted by Hale Construction. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Sorensen, seconded by Councilman Christensen authorizing issuance of Interest bearing warrants #16 for $538.97 and ##17 and ##18 for $1,000.00 each on LID #88 to" Southwick -Campbell Co., Inc. in th-e total amount of $29538.97 for contractor's final estimate submitted by Lake City Gravel & Materials, Inc. and final Engineers fee submitted by James H. Reid & Associates. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Christensen, seconded by Councilman Sorensen that the Mayor name a committee to be announced at the next meeting to review the Zoning and Building Codes. Motion carried. A motion was made by Councilman Tuson, seconded by Councilman Sorensen that the Mayor's appointment of A. G. Simpson to the Planning Commission for a term of 6 years be approved. Motion carried. A motion was made.by Councilman Tuson, seconded by Councilman Lambe that the Mayor be authorized to sign the plat of Ericksson'Addition upon compliance of the platter with all necessary improvements and subject to furnishing of bond. Motion carried. The meeting was then recessed until Tuesday, November 11, 1958.
