CALL TO ORDER
Chair Mike Fields called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
MINUTES:
ARproval of meeting minutes — 4/22/19
Commissioner Norm Davis made a motion to approve the 4122119 meeting minutes. Chair Fields
seconded the motion. The motion carried.
DRRESPONDENCE
Successful completion of probation
The Commission extended congratulations to Officer Ashley James for successfully completing her Police Officer
probationary period effective 5/16/19.
POLICE BUSINESS
Review/Approval of the Academy Graduate Eligibility list
Commissioner Davis made a motion to approve the Academy Graduate Eligibility List. Chair Fields
seconded the motion. The motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
None.
OTHER
Ms. Hardie's last day with the City will be June 21, 2019. Chair Fields noted for the record the Commission's
appreciation to Ms. Hardie for her work and dedication to the Civil Service Commission. Ms. Hardie stated that
she had made the Mayor aware of the need to appoint a new Secretary & Chief Examiner and that hopefully
there would be in interim HR Director to appoint to this position but that she would keep the Commission
apprised.
