CALL TO ORDER
Chair Mike Fields called the meeting to order at 6:00 pm.
MINUTES:
Approval of meeting minutes — 5/22/19
Commissioner Norm Davis made a motion to approve the 5/22/19 meeting minutes. Chair Fields
seconded the motion. The motion carried.

POLICE BUSINESS
Review/Approval of the Academy Graduate Eligibility List
Sergeant Josh McClure presented the Academy Graduate Eligibility List to the Commission for certification.
Chair Fields made a motion to approve the Academy Graduate Eligibility list dated 6/5/19. Commissioner
Davis seconded the motion. The motion carried.
Review/Approval of the Entry Level Police Eligibility List
Sergeant McClure explained that of the names on the list, candidates 1, 2, 3, 5, and 6 had conditional offers of
employment pending. A short discussion followed by the Commission about upcoming retirements (Officer Mark
Froland- 6/21 and Sergeant Karl Roth- 6/9/19). Sergeant McClure further explained that the department had
authorization from the Mayor to "over hire" by two officer positions.
Commissioner Davis made a motion to approve the 6/5/19 Entry Level Police Eligibility List. Chair Fields
seconded the motion. The motion carried.
NEW BUSINESS
Secretary & Chief Examiner Mary Ann Hardie stated that, since this was her last meeting with the Commission,
she wanted to thank the Commission and let the Commission know that there would be a need to appoint a
Secretary & Chief Examiner to the Commission before the next meeting in August 2019.
Chair Fields (and the Commission) again thanked Ms. Hardie for her service to the Commission. The meeting
adjourned at 6:11 pm
