A <I\'esolution Of The Edmonds City Councl( Nanking
Councilmember Dave Zaitzeffor Jfis Service To The Edmonds City Council
Whereas, Dave Teitzefwas elected to the City Council in November 2015 and sworn in January 2016. While
in office Councilmember Teitzel approached the office with passion and an earnest desire to serve the
citizens of Edmonds; and
Whereas, while on Council, Councilmember Teitzel approached his duties diligently with a thoroughness and
completeness. As such, he helped to see the completion of the following:
• Initiated the installation of a drive -up mailbox at the Edmonds Library
• Initiated the ban on plastic utensils and straws
• Contributed to the selection and appointment of numerous candidates to the many citizen's
committee vacancies
Whereas, while on Council, Councilmember Teitzel was involved with many committees and commissions on behalf
of the City of Edmonds including:
• Chair of the Council Finance Committee
• Representative on the Disability Board
• Representative to the Port of Edmonds
• Edmonds Homelessness Task Force
Now, Therefore, Be it Resoked, that Dave Teitze(be applauded and thanked for serving as a Councilmember. The
Council looks forward to his continued dedication and service to the citizens of Edmonds.
