Resolution 015RESOLUTION NO. 15 Vn EREAS, the City of Edmonds by Resolution of Intention No. 117 passed on March 3, 1953, provided for a local improvement to improve certain property located within the City of Edmonds described as follows: Lots 17, 18, 19, 20 in Block 40, the east half of Lot 8 and all of Lots 9 through 32 inclusive in Block 41, Lots 1 through 32 and the east half of Lot 33 in Block 42, all of Block 43, all of Block 64, Lots 1 through 20 and 28 through 40 inclusive, Block 65, Lots 1 to 7 and 25 to 38 inclusive in Block 79, Lots 10 to 19 and the south half of Lots 33 and 34 and all of Lots 35, 36, 37 and 38 in Block 80, Block 81 less the southwesterly portion of Lots 35 to 38 inclusive, Lots 1 to 20 and 36 to 40 in Block 84, Lots 1 to 5 and 26 to 40 inclusive in Block 85, all of Block 86, the south half of Blocks 44, 63, 82, 83 and 88, Lots 1 to 14, Block 78, and the north half of Blocks 76, 87 and 89, Plat of the City of Edmonds, and the unplatted property located in Section 24, Township 27 N, Range 3, E.W.M., described as follows: Beginning at a point 30 feet north and 30 feet west of the intersection of Seventh and Glen Street; thence -eldest 60 feet; thence Northwesterly to a point 120 feet Irfest of West property line on Seventh Avenue and 95 feet north of North property line of Glen Street; thence north and parallel with Seventh Avenue a distance of 140 feet; thence West 40 feet; thence north 140 feet; thence west 40 feet; thence north 140 feet; thence west 188.4 feet; thence north 140 feet; thence east 103.4 feet; thence north 76 feet; thence east 285 feet to west property line of Seventh Avenue; thence south along west property line of Seventh Avenue 731 feet to point of beginning. WHEREES, the said improvement was for the construction of a trunk and lateral sani- tary sewer system together with the necessary manholes and other appurtenances necessary to make a complete improvement, and WtREAS, it appears from the preliminary estimates and assessment roll that the amount of estimated cost and expense which is to be assessed against the property in the proposed district exceeds the actual value of the real property (exclusive of im- provements thereon) within the district according to the valuation last placed upon it for the purposes of general taxation, in that the total real valuation is in the amount of 947,800.00 and the estimated cost and expense of the improvement is in the amount of �559,511.00, and �IJN�REAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds deems it necessary for the public health, safety and welfare of the citizens of the said City of Edmonds that the proposed local improvement district for the construction of the trunk and lateral sanitary sewer system be installed, NOW, THEP.EFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF TIT✓ CITY OF EDPLONDS HEREBY RESOLVES: 1. That a trunk and lateral sanitary sewer system together with the necessary man- holes and other appurtenances necessary to make a complete improvement be constructed as provided in Resolution of Intention No. 117 and within the area described in this resolution. 2.
