WHEREAS, on the 18th day of January, 1.955, the abutting
f
owners of that portion of Second Avenue located in the City
of Edmonds, County of Snohomish, State of Washington., and more
particularly described as follows, to -wit:
That portion of Second Avenue deeded to the City of
Edmonds under Auditor's File No. 6590392 described
as follows:
Beginning at the intersection of the north boundary and
the centerline of the original right-of-way described
under said Auditor's File No. 659039; thence along said
north boundary N 89 deg. 56f50" W 22.92 feet to the
intersection of the westerly margin of said Second Avenue;
thence along said margin S 29 deg. 18100" W 339.07 feet
to a point on a curve, the center of which bears S 47
deg. 12'16" E 362.37 feet; thence along said curve, to the
right an are distance of 19.75 feet to a point of reverse
curvature; thence along a curve to the left, the center
of which bears N 44 deg. 04156" W 357.13 feet, an arc
distance of 94.15 feet to a point of tangency;: thence
N 30 deg. 48148" E 242.13 feet; thence N 89 deg. 56150"
W 7.25 feet to the point of beginningr.
have petitioned this Council for the vacation of the above -en-
titled property, and
WHEREAS the law requires a hearing on such a petition, and
that the same be fixed by resolution,
NEW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED, that Tuesday,,
February 15, 1955, at the hour of 8:00 o'clock P.M., at the
City Hall, Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the time and
place for the hearing and determination on the said petition.
