WHEREAS it has been brought to the attention :of the City officials
in the Edmonds City Council that DONALD EDWARD TALEN, son of LOUIS
TALEN, one of our councilmen, has passed away; and
WHEREAS, LOUIS TALEN has been a member of the Edmonds City
Council for more than a year; and
WHEREAS he has evidenced an interest in civi c affairs and given
of his time for the benefit of the City; and
WHEREAS we feel that it is fitting that some permanent record of
our sympathy and compassion for him be expressed,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1: That the City Council of the City of Edmonds
does hereby extend its individual and collective sympathy to LOUIS TALEN,
one of our council members, for the passing of his son, DONALD EDWARD
TALEN.
Section 2: That it is hereby resolved that a copy of this
Resolution be spread on the Official Minutes of the City of Edmonds as a
permanent record and memorial.
Section 3: That it be further resolved that a copy of this
Resolution be sent to LOUIS TALEN so that he may have a written record
of the actions taken in this proceeding.,�, ,
