Resolution 023RESOLUTION NO. , & WHEREAS, on the 21st day of June, 1955, PAUL McGIBBON, Mayor of Edmonds passed away, and WHEREAS , he had been the mayor of the City of Edmonds for �p years, and prior to that time had served as a city council- man for years, and WHEREAS, during the time so spent he had devoted a great deal of time, effort and ingenuity toward solving the problems resulting from his office, and WHEREAS the Mayor and the City Council of the City of Edmonds and the officers and employees of the said City, together with many of the citizens, feel that there shoul d be a fi tting memorial for the time so spent by such an interested and devoted citizen, and WHEREAS it was felt by the City Council, off icers and employees of the City of Edmonds that a permanent record of such memorial be made, NOW, THEREFORE. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Edmonds City Council, together with the officers, employees and citizens of Edmonds, in memory of PAUL McGIBBON for the fine and outstanding work which he had done during the time that he served the City, hereby perpetuate his memory through this Resolution. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be spread upon the Minutes of the Council meeting of August 2, 1955, as a permanent memorial to PAUL McGIBBON. IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this Resolution be furnished to the children of PAUL McGIBBON as an act of the officials of the City of Edmonds commemorhting the services which were rendered by the said PAUL McGIBBON. IT IS "RTB2R RESOLVED that a .copy of this Resolution :be given to the , `Edmonds .Tribune--Reviewl' for publication, in order that the citizens of FAmi meads might be made aware of the high esteem and respect which its: City.
