Resolution 026 ARESOLUTION NO.
WHEREAS, on the 17th day of September, 1957, the abutting owners
of that portion of Second Avenue North located in the City of Edmonds, County of
Snohomish, State of Washington, and more particularly described as follows,
to -wit:
That portion of Second Avenue in Government Lot 1, Section 23, and Gov-
ernment Lot 2, S--j=c¢ion 24, Township 27 North, Range 3 East, W. M. , .lying on
either side of a 50 foot right of way between the North margin of Sunset Addition
and the South margin of Morse Add'n, the center i_e of which is descrzaed as
I ollows: Beginning at the intersection of the centerline of Second Avenue and the
North margi-a of the plat of Sunset Addition as recorded in volume 15 ofplats, page
z records o1 S_ioh0<ni,sh County, sand centerline point bung south 39056150" east
29. 09 feet from the northeast corner of lot 1, said plat of Sunset Addition; thence
north 30048148" .east 363 feat, more or less, to the intersection of the centerline
of Second Avenue and the south margin of Morse Addition as -recorded in volume
13 of plats, page 16, records of Snohomish County, said point being south 89059' 40"
east 28. 67 feet from the southeast corner of lot 4, said plat of Morse Addition,
(Snoho-,nis'i County, Washington);
have petitioned this Council for the vacation of the above described propert , and
'WHEREAS, the law requires a heari_zg on such a petition, and that the
same be fi iced by resolution,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that Tuesday, the
day of 1957, at the hour of 8: 00 o'clock, P.M., at
the City Hall, Edmonds, Washington, shall be fixed as the time and place for the
heari.ag and determination on the said petition.
