WHEREAS., vehicular traffic over State Highway 1-W, which
is a secondary State Highway leading into Edmonds, Washington, has
increased tremendously, and
WHEREAS, all indications are that the traffic flow will
become greater rather than lesser, and
WIF.R.EAS, there is a blind curve on a grade within the,
City of Edmonds on said State Highway 1-W, where slow moving vehicles
impede the flow of traffic, and
WhMEAS, it is felt that it will be in the best interests
of the City of Edmonds and for the safety and welfare of its citizens
and all those that use said State Highway 1-W that a slow -traffic lane
be installed on the said blind curve and grade,
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED BY THF CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LIDMONI T'S that the State Highway Department be requested
to install a slow -traffic lane on State Highway 1-W, in Edmonds, in
accordance with the map or sketch hereto attached and made a part of
and incorporated herein by reference.
