Resolution 034 ARESOLUTION NO. 34
WHEREAS, a petition for an election for annexation to the City
of Edmonds, pursuant to R.C.W. 35.13.020, was received on the 15th
day of April, 1958, by the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Sno-
homish County, Washington, and
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 33 of the City of Edmonds approving
the said petition was passed on April 15, 1958, published April 17,
1958, and the same was sent to the County Commissioners of Snohomish
County for action thereon, and
WHEREAS, an amended petition signed by a majority of the quali-
fied signers of the original petition for annexation approved by the
said Resolution No. 33 was filed with the City Council of the City of
Edmonds on May 20, 1958, and
WHEREAS, it appears on its face that the said amended petition
is valid and amends the desription of the area petitioned for annexa-
tion under Resolution No. 33 of the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, it appears to be in the best interest of the City of
Edmonds that the amended 'petition be accepted and that an election
for such annexation under said amended petition be called as provided
by law,
NOW, THEREFORE.. IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Edmonds that the amended petition for an election for the
annexation to the City of Edmonds of the following described property:
Beginning at the intersection of the north margin of 212th Street
S.W. and the west margin of 84th Ave. West (Lynn Road) and the existing
city limits of the City of Edmonds, Yf-ash.; thence northerly along the
west margin of said Lynn Road to the north margin of 208th Street S.W.;
thence east, along said north margin, to the west margin of 82nd Ave.
W.; thence north along said west margin to the east -west centerline of
section 19, township 27 north, range 4 east, W.M., thence east along
said centerline, to the west margin of 76th Ave. W., thence south along
the west margin of 76th Ave.W. to the north margin of 212th SW; thence
East along the north margin of 212th St. SW to the intersection with
the westerly margin of State Road No. 1; thence southwesterly along the
west margin of said State Road No. 1 across sections 29, 30 and 31 to
the intersection with -the westerly margin of Secondary State Highway
No. 1-W; thence northwesterly and westerly along the westerly and south-
erly margin of said Secondary State Highway No. 1-W across2Ection 31 of
Twp.27 NR 4 E and Sec. 36, Twp.27 NR 3 E., to the intersection of the
north line of said section 36; thence east along said north line to the
easterly margin of said Secondary State Highway No. 1-W and the existing
city limits; thence southeasterly and easterly along the northerly margin

of S.S.H. #1-W to the east line of the south half of the northwest
quarter of -the northwest quarter of the northeast quarter, section 36;
thence northerly along the easterly boundary of the City limits of
Edmonds to the point of beginning, Snohomish County, Washington,
be and the same is hereby approved and accepted.
