Resolution 046RESOLUTION NO. WHEREAS, DONALD McGIBBON has served the CITY OF EDMONDS as a City Councilman for approximately three years, having been appointed by Mayor Maxwell to fill the unexpired term of Peter Sommerseth who resigned, and later having been elected to the City Council in February of 1958 for a two year term, and WHEREAS, Mr. McGibbon has served faithfully and has always had the well-being of the City and its citizens as his foremost consideration, and WHEREAS, Mr. McGibbon has given of his energies and of his time beyond the normal requirements expected of such an office, and WHEREAS, Mr. McGibbon now finds it necessary to withdraw from his activities because of ill health, and has tendered his resignation as City Councilman of Precinct No. 2, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE. CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, that the resignation of DONALD McGIBBON be and it is hereby regretfully accepted, and a feeling of sincerest appreciation for his services and cooperation be and it is hereby expressed. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this expression of appreciation be spread on the Minutes of the City Council, that the same be published throughout the City, and that a copy of this Resolution be given to Mr. McGibbon.
