A RESOLUTION RELATING TO CONTRIBUTIONS TO THE STATEWIDE CITY
EMPLOYEES RETIREMENT SYSTEM AND MAKING AN ALECTION AS TO THE
BASIS OF THE CITY'S CONTRIBUTIONSa
WHEREAS, R.C.W. 41.44.090 provides that any city having in its em-
ploy ten or more employees who are members of the system may elect to con-
tribute, in lieu of contributions equal to those deposited by employees, an
amount estimated actuarially necessary to match at retirement the accumulated
normal contributions of its members who will ultimately retire for service or
disability, NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City hereby elects to contribute amounts
estimated actuarially necessary to match at retirement the accumulated normal
requirements of those of its members who will ultimately retire for service or
disability,
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this Resolution shall take effect
January 1, 1961.
PASSED by the City Council of the City of Edmonds at a regular meeting
on the 6th day of December, 1960.
