A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF PROPERTY FROM THE
STREET DEPARTMENT OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS TO THE PARK DE-
PARTMENT OF THE SAID CITY FOR CARE AND MAINTENANCE.
WHEREAS, the western bank on Sunset Avenue in the City of
Edmonds is street right of way but has been cared for and maintained by
the Park Department of said City, and
WHEREAS, in order that the Park Department may continue
to care for and maintain the said property it is necessary that it be
transferred from the Street Department to the Park Department, but
with the reservation that such transfer is for care and maintenance only,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS: That the following described property, to -wit:
The westerly ten feet of Sunset Avenue from Casper Street on the
north to Main Street on the south;
be and the same is hereby transferred from the Street Department of the
City of Edmonds to the Park Department of said City, in order that the
Park Department may care for and maintain said property, but with the
reservation that such property shall remain a street right-of-way within
the street system of the said City of Edmonds.
