Resolution 064 ARESOLUTION NO.' -
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN THE
CURRENT EXPENSE ACCOUNT (GENERAL FUND) OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS TO COVER AN OVER -EXPENDITURE OCCASIONED BY THE
CONSTRUCTION OF FIRE STATION NO. 2.

WHEREAS, on or about the �y of J: .� �% , 196 the
citizens of the City of Edmonds byd.ection authorized the issuance of some
$17, 000.00 in General Obligation Bonds of said City for the construction
of a fire station, and
WHEREAS, said bonds were subsequently issued and sold and the funds
realized from such sale were applied to the Eonstruction of a fire station
commonly known as Fire Station No. 2, and
WHEREAS, increased costs of construction, together with certain
authorized changes in design and construction, increased the total ex-
penditures necessary for construction of Fire Station No. 2 by some
$5, 326.41, the expenditure of which sum could not reasonably have been
foreseen when funds for Fire Department expenses were budgeted for
the year 1962, and
WHEREAS, there .are funds available within the Current Expense Ac-
count,, (General Fund) of the City of Edmonds with which to pay such over-
expenditure,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EDMONDS: That the City Treasurer of the City of Ed-
monds is hereby authorized to transfer, within the Current Expense Ac-
count (General Fund) of said City, unexpended funds from any funds avail-
able, to cover over -expended items in Fire Department Expenses for the
construction of Fire Station No. 2, in the sum of $5, 326.41.
