THIS RESOLUTION made and executed this �9k day of December ,
1962 , by the undersigned municipal corporation, a governmental division of
the State of Washington.,
WITNESSETH:
WHEREAS, the undersigned, acting through its appropriate legislative
agency, and in accordance with the provisions of Chapter 35. 63 RCW as
amended, has individually determined that it is for the self-interest of itself
to continue with a rekional organization for the purpose of enlarging and form-
alizing cooperative and coordinated governmental efforts through planning
amongst the several jurisdictions, and
NOW, THEREFORE, the conditions as indicated in this resolution
made and executed on the 29t4 day of December , 19 62, are as follows:
SE CTI ON I
WHEREAS, it is understood that the cities of Mountlake Terrace,
Lynnwood, Edmonds and the Town of Woodway shall contribute cash towards
financing of the 701 program in the sum of $11, 000. 00, as follows:
Mountlake Terrace $3500.00
Lynnwood $3500.00
Edmonds $3500.00
Town of Woodway $ 500.00
Total $11,000.00
This money to be itAlized in the financing of a 701 Planning Program in the
Southwest Snohomish County area, its boundaries generally extending from
approximately Silver Lake on the North; Everett -Bothell Highway on the East;
the Sound on the West; and Snohomish -King County Line on the South. The
undersigned municipality resolves to contribute its above indicated share of
said cash.

SECTION II
It is understood that Snohomish County shall agree to assign two (2)
members of its Planning Staff to the Planning Project to the extent of $14, 000. 00
in technical service contributions. The services provided under this contract
shall be related only to the Planning Project included in the Urban Planning
Assistance Grant Program, identified as the Southwest Snohomish County
Regional area.
SECTION III
The, firm of Clark-Colman-Rupeiks, Incorporated, Planning Consul-
tants, be employed by the council to carry out the Planning Program.
SECTION IV
That as part of the consideration paid for by Edmonds, the Edmonds
planning program will continue and a capital improvement program will be
prepared, based on the comprehensive plan for the Edmonds area, simul-
taneously with development of the first phase study in the adjoining areas.
SECTION V
IN WITNESS WHEREOF, the undersigned municipal corporation
through its duly authorized representatives, have executed this resolution on
the day and year first above written.
