A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS WITHIN THE
WATER DEPARTMENT FUNDS OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS. WASHINGTON
WHEREAS, due to the very rapid growth of the City of Edmonds, and
the resultant increase in water department receipts and tax increases on the
same, and the increased amount of power for the pumps and use of the dis-
posal plant due to servicing more and more houses, certain items within the
Water Department Funds have called for expenditures over and above the
amounts estimated to be necessary therefor, while certain other items within
said funds have not been required to be expended, and
WHEREAS, it is desired to transfer the credit balances of unexpended
items to cover those items over -expended, within Water Department Funds,
NOW, THEREFORE„ BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF EDMONDS: That the City Treasurer of the City of Edmonds
is hereby authorized to transfer, within the Water Department Funds of said
City, unexpended funds from any funds available, to cover over -expended
items, including the sum of $348(L 84 over -expenditure for Excise Tax,
$217.96 over -expenditure for power for pump, and $400. 29 for Disposal
Plant, over -expended, making a total transfer of $4,099.09 within said
Water Department Funds.
