Resolution 092RESOLUTION NO 92
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a com-
munity accord public recognition for outstanding public service
rendered by individual citizens, and
WHEREAS, SPROULE A. MCGINNISS has with diligence and
efficacy served as Mayor of the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, prior to so serving as Mayor he has served
with equal diligence and efficacy as Chairman of the planning
Commission, and has in like fashion served as Councilman on the
Edmonds City Council, and has likewise served pursuant thereto
on numerous committees of said City Council, and
WI-MRLAS, during the time so spent Mr. McGinness has
devoted himself unselfishly, and with only token remuneration,
to the tasks undertaken by him in the spirit of bettering the
community which he has so painstakingly served, and
WIM,RE4S, the City Council of the City of Edmonds, and
the officers and employees and many of the citizens of said City,
deem it only fitting that a commendation should be issued here-
with for the time and effort so spent by 1,1r. McGinness, and that
said commendation should be made a part of the permanent records
of the City of Edmonds.
NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS HEREBY RESOLVED that the Edmonds
City Council, together with the officers, employees and citizens
of Edmonds, hereby commend Sproule A. Mc Ginness for his untiring
efforts, and excellence in his endeavors, on behalf of said City,
and
IT I5 FURTHER, RESOLVED that a copy of this -Resolution
be furnished to the said SpItOULE A. MCGINN-SS, and an additional
copy be entered in the permanent records of the City of Edmonds
in order that the citizens of Edmonds might be made aware of the
high esteem and respect in which he is held.
