Resolution 101 ARESOLUTION NO, 101
WHEREAS, it is appropriate and desirable that a
community accord public recognition for outstanding public
service rendered by individual citizens, and
WHEREAS, ORLAND M. CHRISTENSEN has diligently
served as City Councilman and Chairman of the Park Board
of the City of Edmonds, and
WHEREAS, in pursuance of said duties and in addi-
tion to said duties he has served as a member of numerous
committees in connection with his aforesaid positions of
service to said City, and
WHEREAS, during the time so spent MR. CHRISTENSEN
has devoted himself unselfishly, with only token remunera-
tion, to the spirit of bettering the community in which he
lives and which he has so painstakenly served, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Edmonds,
and the officers and employees of said City deem it only
fitting that a commendation should be issued herewith for
the time and effort so spent by MR. CHRISTENSEN and that said
commendation should be made a part of the permanent records
of said City of Edmonds, now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS that ORLAND M. CHRISTENSEN Be hereby commended for
his untiring efforts and excellence in his endeavors on
behalf of the said City, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF EDMONDS that a copy of this Resolution be furnished
to the said ORLAND M. CHRISTENSEN and an additional copy be
entered in the permanent records of said City in order that
citizens of the City of Edmonds be forever aware of the high
esteem and respect in which he is held.
