A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
EDMONDS,4 WASHINGTON,. SUPPORTING RESOLUTION NO.
106 OF THE CITY OF MOUNTLAKE TERRACE.
WHEREAS, it has become evident that present access
facilities to Interstate Highway No. 5 (Freeway) in the
South Snohomish County area are inadequate, and
WHEREAS,,a the City Council of the City of Edmonds, has
become concerned over the dangerous conditions created by
inadequate Freeway access for all residents of South Snohomish
County, and
WHEREAS, numerous residents of the City of Edmonds and
surrounding area of South Snohomish County use said Freeway,
now, therefore,
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edmonds
as follows:
Section 1. The City Council of the City of Edmonds
hereby supports Resolution No. 106 of the City of Mountlake
Terrace that the Washington State Department of Highways take
action to provide additional access facilities to Interstate
Highway No. 5 :(Freeway) at 220th Street in Snohomish County,
Washington.
Section 2. The Mayor of the City of Edmonds is hereby
requested to communicate the contents of this Resolution to
the Washington State Department of Highways and all other per-
sons or agencies who may be instrumental in effectuating the
provisions hereof.
