A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF CERTAIN
REAL PROPERTY TO THE CITY OF EDMONDS FOR STREET
PURPOSES PURSUANT TO LAWS OF 1953, CHAPTER 133,
SECTION 1, SESSION LAWS OF THE STATE OF WASHINGTON.
WHEREAS certain real property, hereinafter described,
located in the City of Edmonds, is owned by the Edmonds School
District No. 15, Snohomish County, Washington, and
WHEREAS Edmonds School District No. 15 has by Resolutinn
Nos. 65-10 and 66-1 resolved that said property should be trans-
ferred and dedicated to the City of Edmonds for street purposes,
and
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Edmonds finds it
in the best mutual interests for the city of Edmonds and Edmonds
School District No. 15 that said transfer or dedication take
place, now, therefore,
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS DO RESOLVE AS
FOLLOWS:
Subject to the approval of the Superior Court of Snohomish
County, Washington pursuant to Chapter 133, Section 1, Laws of
1953, the following described property be and the same is hereby
approved for receipt by the City of Edmonds for street purposes
from Edmonds School District No. 15:
Commencing at the southeast corner of Tract 1, Puget
Sound Machinery Depot Five Acre Tracts, according to
the plat thereof recorded in volume 5 of plats, page
47, records of Snohomish County, Washington; thence
north 89034128" west along the south line of said
Tract 1 a distance of 241.95 feet to the true point
of beginning; thence continuing north 89034'28" west
a distance of 73.05 feet; thence north 0011.38" west
a distance of 30.00 feet to an intersection with a
curve to the right, the radius point of said curve
bears south 59034129" east a distance of 40.00 feet;
thence easterly along the arc of said curve consuming
a central angle of 164028137" an arc distance of 114.83
feet to an intersection with the south line of said
Tract 1 and the true point of beginning, situate in the
County of Snohomish, State of Washington.
AND IT IS FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Attorney be and
he is hereby authorized to participate in the legal proceedings
in the Superior Court for Snohomish County, Washington in that
Petition contemplated to be filed by Edmonds School District
No. 15 for the necessary decree authorizing the transfer herein -
mentioned.
RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Edmonds, Wash-
ington this 1st day of February, 1966.
