Resolution 126RESOLUTION N0. A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE APPLICATION FOR WATER FROM THE CITY OF SEATTLE AT SPECIFIED RATES. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------- WHEREAS the City of Edmonds is in immediate need of water to meet the requirements of a growing population and area; and WHEREAS the City of Edmonds, pursuant to said understanding, will provide necessary trunk lines to make connection with the Seattle water supply and master meter; NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF EDMONDS, WASHINGTON DOES HEREBY RESOLVE: Section 1. That the City Engineer be and he hereby is authorized to make the necessary application for water for the City of Edmonds to serve those areas delineated as the "West Central Area" and the "Ballinger Area" on Exhibit "A", a copy of which is attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein as if set forth in full. Section 2. The rates to be applied for by the City Engineer for water from the City of Seattle are set forth as follows: 700 cubic feet or less...........................................$1.10 Each separate building or premises in addition to the first or principal building or premises supplied through the same service connection. 700 cubic feet or less ................... 1.10 Provided that the terms "separate building or premises" shall not apply to trailer parks or trailer courts, which shall be governed as to water rates by the number and size of services, and quantity of water used, under the previous schedule. Each 100 cubic feet in excess of the first 700 cubic feet, except as hereinafter provided........................9.............. .11 Each 100 cubic feet, exceeding 2009000 cubic feet or more used in one month, except as hereinabove provided .................. .09 Each 100 cubic feet in excess of the first 30,000 cubic feet where 80% of the water is used for manufacturing and industrial purposes, golf courses, and cemeteries ........................ .08 Section 3. Connection to the Seattle water supply and master meter will be made by extending trunk lines by the City of Edmonds to Fremont Avenue and 244th Street S.W. (205th Street North). Section 4. The City Clerk is authorized to issue a Water Department warrant in the sum of $69500.00 to the City of Seattle for meter and convection charges.
